Excited to be heading to the Hilton Boston Park Plaza for this years meeting Feb 20-22, 2025. I am a member so I can participate in the board meeting. This is where I learned how to interpret bone density tests, vertebral fracture assessments and spine Xrays.

Previous years I have become certified as a clinical densitometrist and have taken the vertebral fracture recognition course. This training has been an invaluable source of knowledge to me that I have shared with my patients over the years. This evidence-based meeting is recognized worldwide as the commitment to clinical densitometry practice excellence. It conveys confidence to the referring clinicians or scientists that the certified individual has undergone a thorough testing of their knowledge in the field. It also communicates a commitment to continuing education in the field and an adherence to recognized standards. The ISCD is the single organization with commitment to outstanding science and practice of clinical densitometry. 

I am excited to meet with the researchers and learn more about bone health and what the future has in store for bone health. I am priveleged to be be networking with leading companies to find more resources that will help my patients prevent fractures, treat osteoporosis and optimize their quality of life!
